that’s awesome! i think taking a break is for sure good, even just psychologically, so still glad i did it. for me nothing much improves my motivation other than just doing things and then it starts to snowball real quick.
racked up 50 days alcohol free as of today, no pressing reason just wanted a break and a minor challenge to see through to the end. funnily enough the social drinking part was easy and had some fun nights out on 0 alcohol beers. the at home turning brain off and playing video games sipping soju is what i missed.
didn’t experience any actual benefits, which is exactly like when i quit coffee for a couple months and nothing happened just mildly less enjoyment
they definitely pushed neck to PROD without a full round of testing
that’s interesting, i never considered that. to be honest i don’t buy games very much nor at full price but would probably buy 15 over the whole of the life of the console. the digital editions of games costing more than physical has always been absurd to me.
F. happens to me sometimes, tweak something in there by a seemingly random short movement and it seizes up. usually takes a couple of days to settle down.
no idea what causes it or how to fix it, hope this helps
as an owner of a noisy as fuck PS4 considering upgrading this does not fill me with hope. might just get the digital version
yeah definitely was a bit ‘well, ok then’, but i feel like all whodunnit stories suffer from this a bit, there is so much build up it’s hard for a pay off. there were so many red herrings as well, and they were pretty weird.
would be great to see them get a leg up for season 2.
kate box was so good, huge standout for me. special mentions to her wife and the mayor, also very entertaining.
hell no i didn’t, old mate wasn’t even on my radar. not sure if it was satisfying or not but these things usually aren’t, was an entertaining ride at least.
it still holds up imo. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GROUND
ooh i didn’t realise today’s release was the last episode. haven’t watched it yet, been both impressed and disappointed with the series so far. it’s frustrating because with just a bit more tuning it could have been truly excellent. hopefully it does lead to more work for them.
so many well observed minor details. “did you bonk on the devil’s tits?” has lodged in my head for weeks now.
on a side note, been watching utopia and damn it’s solid. working dog such a well oiled machine.
prime basking conditions! inspection just completed, basking commencing
i wasn’t pissy about my inspection today but now it’s ludicrously nice outside and i would have been able to jump a v-line out to the country somewhere.
e: forgot, in day-making news i went to the market this morning and a little staffy came running out of a random shop to plant itself on my feet and demand pats and scratches. it got SO many
i didn’t actually want 7 days’ notice so brought it forward, i’d rather just get it over with and might go on holiday next week
one them routine inspections. i actually hate it but hey renting what can you do, last one was over 6 months ago. the agents/landlords are mostly very hands off.
it’s so discreetly tucked away… a jumpscare is a good idea though. i should be able to get a terrifying visage by 1pm tomorrow
well, i got a short notice REA inspection tomorrow but the good side of that is i cleaned the fuck out of my apartment and set up the new computer properly. was going for one cable but had to settle for two.
yeah someone gave the styling a bit of a scrub, it’s much nicer now. could go with a little bit more indentation tbh
profiles without avatars are still broken… but baby steps
sardines absolutely bang
on toast is like a flavour explosion
