The only archive of it was made one day before a satire article writing about it was made, and there are no traces of the website from before that anywhere online. Mods took down the previous thread on this.

It was some writer wanting to get attention who spread it.

Likely wouldn’t help with torrenting sites considering the first go-around with it had “Consumers deserve access to the lawful Internet content of their choice.” as one of the big things which is a contradiction to what Net Neutrality stands for, but it’s at least a step in the right direction.

Why would I complain? I’d just look for a different one. I’d do that whether I voluntarily quit or if I got fired. I don’t work in a field with very good job security so I always have a few backups planned.

I know that it wasn’t, that was just an extra thought that I threw in that was related.

The first line says “Seriously. This isn’t satire.”, but a few of the other posts are satire on the site (not all), such as “KDE Foundation hires Dwarf Paladin as new Executive Director” and “NetBSD Ported to Cheese Sandwich”. So this is probably malicious satire.

ADHD and Autism commonly go hand-in-hand, and a lot of people with both tend to not get the Autism diagnosis because we get misdiagnosed as having a very severe case of ADHD, a lot of doctors (at least, in my part of the world) are hesitant to give the Autism diagnosis so when both are present it’s often an easy way out of having to diagnose it.

Doctors being hesitant to diagnose is also one of the reasons why self-diagnosis is generally supported among Autistic communities, it also tends to be more difficult to be diagnosed as an adult than as a child.

There’s also more reasons to both of these, but those are some I felt to point out on this.

I’d recommend looking into ASD1 symptoms, as Autism is not always as visible as people think.

Not directly, but you can use KDE Connect (Windows, Linux, and Mac are supported) to do it by pairing your phone and PC through it. It’s not as nice an experience as Google Messages on PC, but you can send, get notifications for, and reply to sms in your PC’s notifications after it’s set up

There are many people currently in jail for crimes they have never committed, there are people who’ve been arrested simply for looking like the suspect despite not being them, wrongful convictions are an issue and everyone should protect themselves because in a lot of crimes people don’t want justice, they just want someone to punish.

I’m skeptical of the app, but it’s not a YouTube knockoff, you have to make sure the YouTube source is enabled

I’ll still wait to see, repairing devices and advocating for the right to repair is not the same thing as developing a video app and open source licensing

I wouldn’t assume by default that a person who knows how to build and repair a rocket also knows how to reach the moon in one.

I don’t expect others to be skeptical just because I think it is, but I just prefer to wait and see on these things regardless of who’s in charge of it, I’ve been burned by things that were supposed to be trustworthy before.

I’ve never heard of him before Grayjay suddenly started trending on here, so I’ll only trust them after this has existed for a little while due to them being able to change the license terms so freely (not that they will or not)

Without a fully open license I just don’t trust someone who comes in suddenly doing it differently than everyone else. Assuming they end up being trustworthy this will be a great thing though.
