I’ll have to tidy up some of the spaghet I’ve added since last uploading a version, and document the new features, I guess.
As much as you can clean up spaghet that’s all in one monolithic file 😏
Eskating cyclist, gamer and enjoyer of anime. Probably an artist. Also I code sometimes, pretty much just to mod titanfall 2 tho.
Introverted, yet I enjoy discussion to a fault.

Marcy choosing to study forbidden magic is probably another choice made more for “character development” than smarts.
Yes, but it’s behind what I use currently.
I’ve made some significant changes. The current version maintains a database of artists I like, and their various socials so they can be linked in each post, and even checks danbooru and pixiv for new art from them.
I also made it activity balance communities. Before, the random feature would just pick an image from a folder you give it, now it’ll try to pick something suitable for the community with the least posts queued.
They’re buried somewhere in my non-organized wallpaper folder. My posting script will get to them when it gets to them, as it runs new and old images by me before posting.
But taking a scroll through the folder, this one was near the top.
Co-incidentally, Salmon88 wasn’t an artist I’d had my tool index yet, so now that’s done, too.
Ah. I do have some favorites that feature her…
No it doesn’t.
It has a “players don’t know how to counter things, and just keep trying to turn it around by sweating harder, instead of adapting their build on the fly”.
I got absolutely crushed yesterday in a match where the enemy Dynamo built pure CC. All he did was go around freezing my team and having his team wipe us multiple times.
I was literally the only person on my team who bought unstoppable early on in order to counter him, and I did pull off some haze ults with multiple kills, but it wasn’t enough, because by the time I was done, I was still the sole survivor of my team.
The rest of my team just proceeded to die over and over, allowing the other team to snowball past anything we could handle.
In the game before that, I successfully shut down an Abrams that was out of control, simply by buying slowing hex (which disables his charge ability) and having a team that knew to focus him whenever I used it.
Right.
Because doing without thinking never harmed anyone…
Who tf compares thought and action as if they’re opposing methods to do anything?
More often than not, to do any good one requires the other and vice versa.
Good shitpost, I guess.
You can have both text and an image.
I include extra details as text in all my posts, so something went wrong with the image.
Like the other commenter says, you can still add the image by editing your post.
Also, welcome to lemmy and thanks for posting!
You don’t have to to use alt+number to upgrade, just press tab instead. Or rebind it.
I’ve been avoiding alt because it meant camera input would stop, now I can actually upgrade shit mid fight faster, when before I was long pressing the ability keys to unlock abilities mid-fight to use them.
This is great, but I like this.
This has Miku finding a pipe-bomb energy.

You need only glance at my main account, @[email protected], to see I do a bit more than that.
[email protected] is another community I thoroughly enjoy growing.
[email protected] would welcome this :D
With that much underboob, lets mark this nsfw.
I’d really appreciate it if you used paragraphs. Would make reading longer comments like that one a little nicer.
Like you say, redundant activity is extremely difficult, and the second and third posters only show up when a community already seems active. It’s a catch 22.
On Lemmy, as it is new, we are still in a phase where people like you and me who are out to post things, are more likely to create new communities instead of finding existing ones where the things they want to post would fit in.
That’s kinda why I shifted gears and made actively looking out for posts that might fit in in more places part of the my deal. To get that redundancy and overlap going, so that even if I disappear, others might still be around posting similar stuff, and so that the people posting to their own communities, might start posting to each others communities, too.
For the same reason, I want to see if I can get Mastodon users involved with the threadiverse. There are lots of artists over there, and they are already used to hashtags to make relevant things visible to people looking for it, so I don’t think it’s a stretch that if only the active users over there knew more about the threadiverse, there could be more interaction.
Hopefully Mastodon’s support for groups will eventually bring even better interoperability.
I’m finding I’m a lot less frustrated now that Thunder has great support for cross-posts. On any one post you can see a list of all the other posts, their votes, and comment counts.
It’s super easy to jump between all the threads discussing the same thing and participate in them all.
It’s never stopped me from writing working stuff, or coming back to change it even if it’s all gone from my head.
I give functions and variables descriptive, at times sentence-lenght names, which makes shit real obvius for myself.
It also makes finding sections of code easier, because I just need to vaguely remember shit to ctrl+f my way to the right lines.
Still means that whenever other people see my code they go “wtf dude, you live like this”.
