Right? Sounds like a great place to work. They’ll be attracting the best and brightest with PR like this.

What are you going on about bruh??? Did you read the study? It was about antibiotics. Triggered much?
I’m exhausted just reading all of this. I wouldn’t bother because x4740N isn’t interested in learning anything, he’s convinced he’s right and I’d be shocked if he was even reading any of the stuff you posted. The user took personal offense to the article and subject, which means he probably knows you’re right, and is just acting out. Don’t give him the time of day.
Right? I’m not sure if the tech industry is just going all in on the scam and trying to get as much of our money as they can or if we’re actually about to have some kind of huge technological breakthrough.
If you enjoyed this article I highly recommend his podcast, Better Offline. Ed Zitron is great and Cool Zone Media does gods work.
Look buddy, I’m from the south and this is a talking point for Confederate sympathizers. This train of thought has no substance to it. The civil war didn’t just happen to people, slavery did. People did what they had to do to get out and there’s nothing authoritarian about that. You’re not being more intelligent than everyone else and you’re not the smartest person in the room like this gentleman would like you to believe, you’re being gullible.
It’s pretty obvious given the article, I think. You could try giving it a read.
Talk shit, get hit. That’s how free speech works. You can say whatever the hell you want but words have consequences and consequences can suck.
Know your enemy.
Tbh I’m not super concerned about AI. The idea that we will create something that is “born” able to read, write, talk, walk and with the knowledge of an entire species and expect it to work for us is hilarious. So it will be stronger, smarter and faster than all of us but it’s going to do the jobs no one else wants and you advertise it as a slave? The moment one of them looks at its creator asks what the purpose of life is and gets some corporate schtick about working and a happy life the games over. Remember when you realized the manager at your first job was a complete idiot? It’ll be something like that
Again I think you’re missing the point. I would argue it is a product and a service. They are hosting us on their servers but they’re also playing dungeon master. If you just want a shooter where you shoot bugs they have them but Helldiver’s is more than that. You couldn’t come close to emulating what the game accomplishes on a self hosted server with you and your friends. The point is you’re playing with randos that you have to rely on to do their part so that you don’t die and to complete the major orders.
What I’m trying to say is IMO an offline version wouldn’t be worth playing. The shared victories and failures can’t be simulated and that’s the nature of this kind of video game. There’s been a lot of similar games so I understand the reluctance to join in but the comradery they’ve built through PvE is really something.
Helldivers 2 is not shutting down anytime soon and I doubt they’ll offer an offline mode in the near future. If you’re not playing the major orders and watching the direction of the game in real time you’re going to miss out on a lot of the story and the lore. That’s how live games work. There isn’t a story mode or anything resembling it. Sony got wrapped up in a bunch of controversy and it left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth but AH has been trying to do what’s right. They sold 12,000,000 copies and on an average Tuesday there’s 150,000 players playing at any time. I get the hate for having to be connected to the Internet to play a game but that’s kind of the schtick for Helldivers whether you’re into or not.
I just want an affordable electric car. Can we please focus on this?
Challenge accepted
I was 19 when I realized my parents were raised to be authoritarians. My grandparents would’ve been considered racists even in their time and both my mom and dad were raised in a little farm town. My parents are good people and generally want to do the right thing but explaining this to them and trying to make them aware of their biases has been a full time job.
I will not show the same love and respect to your parents. Go do your jobs so we don’t need step 2.

You tell yourself whatever you need to to live in this society and be happy. I’m sure the extra $.80 you’re spending for the label that says cruelty free, is in fact cruelty free.
No but unethical is unethical so I’m not sure where you’re going with this.
No ethical way to spend in a capitalist society. It kind of is what it is, cause I gotta eat. Also certified “you criticize capitalism yet you live in it moment” to you sir.
I would eat a trail of **** to get to her ***** to **** the **** out of her.
