If they’re lucky they don’t just “disappear” into a mass grave, they’ll get to enjoy their resettlement to a poor russian oblast. Reeducation camps are great! You’ll get an “education” and don’t even have to take on a student loan.
Ukrainians just don’t appreciate all the things Putin has done for them. Systematically attacking their energy grid gave them a chance to experience christmas by candlelight. So romantic.

Y’know, boys, a good moderator needs many skills, such as boldness, daring and a velour uniform. If I was moderator all I would ask from my users would be their complete loyalty. If I had that, then for all I cared they could sit around the whole day drinking beer in their underpants.

I have to admit that I’m enthusiastic about the whole fediverse thing mostly because reddit became the new facebook. Reddit used to be a bit of a nerdy place but gradualy it became just another shitty social network. The people who migrate away from reddit right now are the nerds who care about things like a decentralized internet, which is exactly the kind of geeky thing that old reddit’s userbase cared about.

Reddit right now is like the Simpsons. It won’t die but it stopped being good a long time ago.
