  • Anarcho-Bidenism was kind of framed as irony but they always actually meant it.

Like, it was ironic. It was. But the irony was the anarcho part all along.

They weren’t ironically supporting Biden and NATO, they really were doing that and they were smirking at how they were calling themselves anarchists while supporting Biden and NATO because even those fucking morons realized how incompatible those positions are.

But somehow in this 4chan style post post post modernism that online millennials and zoomers have created all that mattered to them was that the irony was there. They didn’t probe what the irony was, somehow they’re just content with the irony being there. That’s where the thought process terminates.

Someone tell me a German philosopher who can help me understand this phenomenon?

I don’t fucking get it. I can see what it is but I don’t fucking get it.

Don’t be smug about it though. Cooking might seem like an innate ability if you were raised with it but intergenerational poverty is associated with a lack of education about things like this and also a lack of access to quality food.

If you’re time poor from working shifts or multiple jobs

If due to social class or race or intergenerational poverty you lacked an education about food

If contemporary race and social class segregation means you live in a “food desert” that simply doesn’t sell fresh produce

Have empathy. Obviously this person is suffering and needs help.

  • I disagree. Both tactics work can work.

For me it was having a bunch of MLs laugh at me and ridicule me that really got me thinking.

I remember being a baby leftist trying to argue that “capitalism just works which is why a social welfare state is the best plausible system” that gave me a jolt into re-examining my views.

If someone comes in good faith then yes you talk with them calmly and reasonably but if someone is tone policing, lecturing, or trolling then you give it to them right back.

Saying you can’t be racist against crackers is not only true, it will also confront people into thinking about what racism really is and what function it performs in our society.
