Don’t Think, Just Jam
That’s good to hear. Lets hope the rest of cut 4.0 features won’t take too long once this one’s out.
That’s what happens when you leave the public facing part of the project with a skeleton crew and force everyone else to work on big boss’ darling behind closed doors. Not that I’m defending this approach but it is what it is. ╮( ˘ 、 ˘ )╭
It might interest you that Evocati is suppose to test a potential 4.0 release candidate for wave 1. Chance to test SM on live servers within the next quarter is more and more probable.
Come on, every gamer knows fights need to happen in a specifically designed combat arena. Conveniently placed cover is a feature, not a bug!
It’s a mark of a true professional.
Well, power of love is hell of a multiplier.
They obviously stream normally as well but the group focus is on music to a bigger extent than the main Holo side - ReGloss has 22 covers and 4 original songs on their main channel on top of all the covers made by each member (playlist on the group channel is up to 57 songs right now).
Just a heads up, your spoiler is broken (you’re missing the first spoiler keyword).
Man, I love the vehicle handling. It’s far from perfect but I much prefer the weightiness of Cyberpunk (or GTA IV) over more “Hollywood” approach of most games. I realize I’m in a minority on this one but I hope they keep it in the next game (just with extra polish, obviously).
I recently restarterd my playthrough (first time touching the game since 2.0 dropped) so I’m not done with the game yet but my very brief thoughts are: I like the new content and technical improvements, I’m not entirely sold on gameplay changes and have more fun with the old mechanics to some extent (I actually reinstalled the legacy version to compare). There are some things I really appreciate in the latest version but over all legacy is more up my alley.
It’s still a great game and probably will end up as one of my favorites despite all its issues. Will see how I feel after I’m done with it.
Oh, nice to see some info on that. It’s on the top of my list for when I get back to buying physical copies.
Poor Stein, having to travel with strong handsome men taking him on adventures. What a cruel and unfair world.
At least all the warriors are together now, things are about to get spicy.
I came back to Cyberpunk 2077 recently. First time touching the game since the 2.0 update and I have to say I’m a bit mixed on the changes (I actually reinstalled the legacy version to make sure I’m not just misremembering things).
I’ll probably post a longer write up once I’m done with my playthrough (or at least do more testing and comparison between both version) but for now my main takeaway is this: I like the new content and all the technical improvements, gameplay, while better from a design and balance perspective, lost some of the fun for me in the process. It’s still a great title and I enjoy it quite a bit but yeah… I miss some of the old unbalanced jank of a game we had before.
I hope to attempt my rewatch idea sometime in the first half of next year if everything goes right. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for months now but can’t really justify taking enough time to actually work on it. I’ll get there eventually.
As for the the reading one, I think it would be a good idea to start with something generic enough to cast a wide net and on the shorter side, as going in with a series right of the bat could scare off potential participants (especially since they don’t know what to expect engagement/discussion wise yet). I’d say start with a low commitment title to see how things go and then adjust based on that. I’d certainly like to give it a shot at least once if I’m available whenever that happens.
That’s exactly what happened to me and another community pretty much. Not mine but I did try to liven it up for a good while. Can’t people to interact and make a community if they don’t want to, I guess.
As fun as fediverse is in its current form is, it can still be a bit small in regards to the some topics and forms we want to engage about them in. Guess anime and manga communities were a good choices to start with. Still, a bit of luck never hurts.
(…) I was also surprised at how many people are active here in the manga community that don’t seem to be active in the anime community.
That’s me, I’m one of those not active on the anime side (even if I tried early on). In my case it comes to two things:
I’m still planning to join in from time to time whenever I have something to talk about and I’d like to suggest/run a rewatch or two in the future but that’ll have to wait for now. Need to sort out the boring IRL stuff first for that.
Anyway, thanks again to both you and @[email protected] for running the joint as well as admins for giving it a place to thrive in the first place.
So… where’s the cake?
I’m glad I stumbled into this community when I did. I used to post on the ml one (back when I still used an account on a now defunct kbin instance) but there was barely any interactions there so it felt like screaming into the void at times. That and there weren’t many people posting threads to begin with, which strengthened that feeling even further.
We’re still a pretty limited crowd (which is right up my alley) but there’s enough of us here to have some discussion and, just as important, find new stuff thanks to others. So thanks for bringing us a fun place to hang out and here’s to another successful year!
Onee-san is truly a worthy opponent.
Best case scenario prom might allow some other pairs to blossom. Might not be a complete waste…
It has been a while since I watched it so I’m not really sure how well it holds up but I remember 91 Days being pretty dope. It’s a mafia story about MC infiltrating a group responsible for the death of his family, set during the prohibition era in the US. It’s a short watch (12 episodes or so) too.
Another busy week so I don’t have any huge updates. I did however restart reading The Demon King’s Daughter Is Too Kind!! - it’s a perfect comfort food for rough times. Even more so since I had a long break from the series so there’s some new chapters waiting for me as well.
I love manga. (❁´◡`❁)
