I’ve seen Reddit do the same thing for years and always wondered why. It’s super annoying.

It really depends on where I am. Winter in a city sucks. Winter in the mountains is awesome. Summer in Phoenix sucks. Summer on the Albanian Riviera is awesome.

He’s a bad actor and he knows it. He knows, and doesn’t care one bit, that his previous comments contradict his current comments. Everything these people say is in service to making their people look good and right, and making your people look bad and wrong. That’s literally the only goal. You will never win an argument with them or embarrass them, because facts don’t matter to them and they have no shame. Words mean nothing to them. Words are just a weapon and they are fighting a guerilla war.

EDIT - To be perfectly clear. There are two pictures of Nazis, and one picture of someone who would have been a Nazi supporter if he didn’t prematurely die of hubris.

Insurance is the biggest racket in the world. They literally looked at mobsters running protection schemes on local businesses and said “I bet that’s scalable.” It’s why I will never have sympathy for people like Brian Thompson. He chose to do gangster shit and he got whacked. Them’s the fuckin’ breaks, pal.

Florida beaches have mosquitos too. And sand fleas. It doesn’t seem to stop women from wearing bikinis.

I loved that show back in the day. Nigel Bennett is such a solid character actor. I don’t remember how it ended though, which I guess means I need to re-watch it.

I lived in Florida for 20+ years. The beach is wildly overrated. Unless you surf or dive (and FL sucks for surfing), there’s literally nothing to do except walk and sit on sand. Though I will say this: if you’re allowed to have a bonfire on the beach at night, it becomes infinitely more fun. But that’s pretty much banned in FL.

So yeah, I will opt for the forest almost every time.

There is no law that says women can’t wear bikinis in the forest.

‘Death in the City of Light’ by David King. It’s a true crime story about a serial killer in Nazi occupied Paris. Dude would trick Jews into thinking he was smuggling them out, then kill them. Truly diabolical.

He may have had previous charges for kidnapping and child endangerment, and took a plea to get the charges reduced. Then under his conditions of the plea, if he violates the restraining order he gets re-charged with those, and no option to plea out. I’ve seen stuff like that happen to lots of folks.

That’d be my best guess, but I could be wrong.

You are working under the assumption that these “pedo hunter” groups are all acting in good faith and on good information. I encourage you to do some reading. There are many cases where these groups pretend to be 18 year olds, lure an unsuspecting person into a meeting, and then lie to their audience about the age they originally claimed to be online, as Xatolos has pointed out.

Lots of them do it to lure in and attack LGBTQ+ folks, while others act on false accusations they receive from third parties:

And I can’t tell you how many times they just straight up confront the wrong person. Here’s one example, and here’s another, here’s one more, and here’s yet another.

These are not professionals. They are YouTubers looking for fame and relying on outrage and violence to get it, and they all-too-often don’t care who gets hurt or killed in the process.
