  • India appears to be a country that contains multitudes and is hard to pin down. It has a problematically large contingent that is deeply islamaphobic. The country suffers from low regulation and prejudice as well as a shitty right wing president. But much of it is beautiful with rich culture. The prominent religions are pretty benign when compared to american christianity as far as I can tell

    No I’m not. Unfortunately one of the problems with tankies is they don’t call themselves that most of the time. But I can confidently claim I’m not because when a fellow leftist disagrees with me on 5% of something, I gently explain why I believe what I do, and then proceed to not be mad if the petty difference continues.






  • This process seems to have a lot going for it in being small, modular, and single step. That theoretically opens the door for smaller steel making businesses which is good for impoverished countries, or for companies that want to make their steel in-house. And he tacked on at the end that a similar process with maybe a better anode and cathode could end up refining a lot of mining “waste” could reduce our mining needs.
