I can’t speak for the classic games, but of the newer ones Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider (2016) were really good.
The latest one, Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018), ehhh I found a bit of a slog. It just felt very low effort compared to the others and the world/story were uninspired.
