I mean, the supercharger network seems like it’s in a good spot in the US but it leaves quite a lot to be desired elsewhere. Pretty disappointed by this move to be honest.
It just doesn’t make any sense to me. It’s like their best asset. I know layoffs are typically done to juice the stock, but does that work if the entire value proposition of the stock is based on earnings far in the future? Tesla is killing that exact future value proposition.
Rumour says, Musk fired the whole team because the person in charge pushed back on the layoffs. There’s no corroboration afaik but it would be entirely in character for him.
