If this game has more of a linear storyline and people are simply completing it, then the playtime as an issue. Portal is a great game, and you likely won’t spend 100 hours in it.

It looked like it was an open-world explore/build game, which normally means a long playtime of self-directed goals. If you can’t keep your players engaged for 100+ hours in those types of games, then the world or the mechanics aren’t engaging.

100 hours is a major investment. For me a game was worth it if I spent less than 1$/hour.

I enjoyed it a lot, I just don’t have time to commit to these games with self driven goals anymore unfortunately.

Then Helldivers came out and with its ability to drop in and play for an hour have a good time then evaluate if you want to get off its far better for me.

Then why even pontificate about hours played and their relationship to content? I have 150 hours and still have not completed everything.
