I am learning roller skate at 32 years old. I wear all my pads and a helmet everytime.

    Hell yeah I compliment helmets.

I love it! I had only done roller blading and ice skating when I was young, and honestly quads scared me.

I have fallen a lot. I am not as fit as I want to be so it gets pretty tiring. My feet hurt and my lower back won’t stop complaining.

This is going to be a life long thing. I cannot wait to get good.

That’s what I’ve been tell my grown ass friends, it was like “When you dress like a professional cyclist, everyone act with you like you’re professional”.

Governent-affiliated bike community in my city proposes the idea, that commuters don’t have to wear helmets, because “helmet make you reckless” (sic!).

I’ve also found the Asian way of “If you don’t wear your helmet you’ll die” occasionally works
