I really don’t understand what you are saying or offering as an alternative here.

Re read what i wrote I’ll also explain it to you again:

Politicians and rulers, the ones in charge of pretty much every government are mentally ill individuals devoured by greed and lust for power. They do not care about others if not strictly out of personal interest. They are professional liars. As you can see right now in Gaza and as you can read in any history book these corrupted mafiosi seek war and use it as a tool to gain more wealth and power. They do not want peace, if not once they have put their filthy hands all over the place and to make sure nobody challenge their authority. The alternative to war is to strip these criminals of power and seek justice. Not making more nukes, not dumping trillions on weapons, not invading other countries, not mass surveillance, not beating protesters, not putting in jail Whistleblowers and not forcing everyone to fight for a country. Russia and Israel both have mandatory conscription, that’s one of the really reason they can do what they are doing right now. Russians are chilling in dubai right now, next to western politician and billionares yachts. Building weapons, increasing their power and forcing everyone to be their slave is their dream, they don’t care about helping people.

I really am trying but I’m not sure what you’d want me, a Finn, to do to solve the issue of the threat of Russian aggression. I really don’t see many alternatives to us having a credible and strong defence.

As Finn If you want a credible and strong defense purge your country from corrupted politicians who only care about wealth and profits. Vote for people that are against dictatorships and authoritarian states like russia, usa or china. Keep in mind that the whole system is rigged and the government and media have a strong grip on public opinion. Help your neighbors and organize with other people to improve the quality of life of everyone around you. Feeding your current government and giving up your rights will only make things worst for your own security and that of others. Stand your ground against propaganda, think with your brain and never listen blindly to orders.

Seeing with how they’ve waging a war of conquest in Ukraine I think that might be one answer. With Russia you don’t have to think very hard when they’re constantly threatening their neighbors if not outright attacking them.

So how would your suggestion save us from such possibility?

Usa seem to be doing the exact same thing, what’s your plan to defend from usa if they decide to invade your country like they did with iraq?

So how would your suggestion save us from such possibility?

Russia invasions are made possible thanks to billions of public money spent on weapons and because of mandatory conscription. If your goal is peace and not invading other countries you want to do the opposite of what they are doing.

If someone decides to attack you, you will defend yourself better as a free man not as a chained slave

We don’t live right next to the US and haven’t had to deal with their bullying and hostility for gods’ knows how long. So Russia seems a tad more likely candidate to attack us. But the military isn’t just for a single target, even if that target is the most likely one. So the strategy I assume would be similar in very broad strokes of utilizing a large, trained reservist pool to fight the US.

Russia invasions are made possible thanks to billions of public money spent on weapons and because of mandatory conscription. If your goal is peace and not invading other countries you want to do the opposite of what they are doing.

So what would that be, spend very little on defence and rely on just a volunteer army?

If someone decides to attack you, you will defend yourself better as a free man not as a chained slave

Pretty unfortunate if reliance on just that ends up with me being an even worse sort of slave, this time to Russian masters.
