I wish Scotland could dump our arses as well. They’d go far without intervention from our government.
I’m neither shocked nor surprised, but I am disappointed. Still, it’s been a long time since I thought being a member of one marginalized group automatically put you in solidarity with others.
I honestly am ashamed to be a Brit. I do what I can with my circle of friends and family to help educate them and keep them from parotting biggoted shit they watch or read in the news but it’ll never be enough. I can only hope the next generation of MPs helps right the ship.
