It’s a real shame that injury meant he didn’t get to go out on his own terms, or have a proper send off. However, he had an amazing career, and he may go down as the last player to kick 1,000 goals.

At least now he’ll have more time to take the bins out.

As a Dons fan I’ve absolutely hated the bloke. But as a fan of footy it’s a sad day to see this kind of talent leave the game.
