Hi all. New to lemmy just wondering if/when i close the browser or my phone restarts etc and i haven’t logged out from that lemmy session do those logins accumulate like say Google fb reddit etc where i can be logged in multiple times and places? If so how do i find where to logout of all those sessions please? I didn’t sign up using an email address only username and password don’t know if this makes any difference.

You will stay logged in normally, as long as your browser is configured to allow this. I’m not sure there is a way to track where you are logged in or not but if you don’t want this behavior there is probably a way to configure your browser to prevent it. Or just log out when you are done.

Thanks for the reply… Sometimes I’ll forget I’m logged in and close my browser “usually Firefox or Brave” or “greenify” them without logging out. I have them set to wipe all data etc on exiting/closing. With those 2 i lose the login if I’m logged in… On the odd occasion I’ll use the duck duck go browser and that browser is configured to save my logins even when i close or greenify that browser. When i open it again the login is still active… So i totally get what you’re saying… I was just wondering if there was an " account activity page" like reddit has where i can view my logins etc…

Also i have a disability so sometimes it’s difficult for me to get my point across or sometimes I’ll prattle on and make hardly any sense so sorry if this has occurred…

You’re good. Sorry I don’t know of any such feature in Lemmy but I didn’t know Reddit could do that either. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can say definitively.

There’s no feature like this currently. You could change your password or enable/disable 2FA and it may log you out of everywhere as a workaround.
