I feel bad for Brie Larson. The alt-right hate machine really targeted her hard. She got brigaded by the remnant gamergate cucks and when she was asked a few years ago about a sequel to Captain Marvel her response was “does anyone even want me to do a sequel?”
I liked Captain Marvel so I’m glad they made another in spite of all the crap. I haven’t been to a theatre since 2019 so I’ve been waiting for this one to hit Disney+.
I’m bummed to hear that anyone was actually affected by those people. Shitty people who say shitty things have shitty opinions, ignore them. I’m not saying it’s “just that simple”, but don’t make decisions based on them.
That isn’t to say the film is above criticism. Most films get something wrong, some get more wrong than others, but you have to have a real argument.
Captain Marvel was a solid film. The Marvels, without spoiling anything, wasn’t as good. I’m still looking forward to a third film.
