You know for when I’m feeling the urge to post but can’t think of anything I’ve just got a list I dip into. Yeah posting about the list is on the list. Well now it’s not I took it off because I just did it.

No? Just me? Okay kitty-birthday-sad

By saving them for later you are in fact not posting, and by not posting you are depriving your fellow posters of your posts. Posting is the Highest Good and you shoud never withhold it from anyone, including yourself.

You can follow this handy mnemonic device we have developed: ABP

    1. Always
    2. Be
    3. Posting

currently in your queue, some shared with other sites:

i’m working on a larger study guide thingy but i want to cover eurocentrism and maldevelopment by samir amin here rly well. dialectics of dependency would be a good book club topic i’m sure.

why BRICS is overall cool n good even if certain constituent countries (🇸🇦🇦🇪 🇿🇦🇮🇳 also 🇧🇷 tbh but gotta go case by case) are sub-imperialist (this has to be really specific to make sure nobody like “iran and venezuela and russia are imperialist” can enjoy it), why adding Saudi Arabia and UAE to it is cool and good actually (dangerous take to put out there rn in some spaces I know, but consider that China just negotiated a detente between Iran and SA before this crisis) of course gotta be really specific to clear up people’s misconceptions about the significance and function of the org

Leigh Phillips roast + every single reason why people’s republic of walmart bothers me

explaining what you’re actually looking at when you see the influencer reality show. why purportedly pro-palestine media can be anti-resistance, defeatist or hinkkkle style, going thru syria psyops of the past decade

I wanna make one for the Victoria 3 nerds for tips on learning how to play but am pretty busy today and just haven’t made it a priority. I didn’t comment that I’m looking for resources for it in another thread.

I almost never make posts on reddit but actually have posted a bit on here. I think it’s partially just because I know I’m with like minded people so the stage freight is lessened a bit. Some of the comments you get on reddit are just unhinged lunacy.

E: I’d also like to try my hand at quality shitposting here but I’m always afraid I’m gonna say something dumb and offend a comrade.

I just checked and I have 4 hours in on Vicy and still no real clue on any of it. Like I’m roughly familiar with where the menus and such are for what I am needing but no real clue on each system yet, let alone how everything synergizes.

If you are looking into a 4x/Grand Strategy to introduce things, Civ V on easiest mode is mostly just build a ton of units and buildings and win. It let’s you mess with stuff a bit and not really punish you on it. Crusader’s King on the other hand is impossible to learn, I don’t care if anyone says otherwise. I did 15+ hours worth of tutorial in that game and could never wrap my head around it.

I think me and a friend are gonna play Vicy tomorrow evening and see what we can figure out and then maybe after that I might make a post. I have a few videos I am hoping will help too.

I haven’t played Vic3 yet but had like 400 hours in Vic2 and still barely understood it. Still imo the best PDX game except for all the shit bits.

            Well that’s actually reassuring.

I think I’m gonna do a series of shorter games and pick a few goals and try and figure out what to do along the way. I don’t wanna get frustrated while also being overwhelmed, since gaming is supposed to be fun lol.

All of my post ideas are either forgotten 5 minutes later or drill their way into my mind until I’m forced to sit down at my desk and pour them into a post. There’s one brewing about my dog Israeling the sofa that I can’t tell which way it’s gonna go yet.
