What’s a good extension to use? There seems to be a bunch of choices and I would like to avoid getting malware on my phone 😅

Not always. Manga Plus is pretty damn good imo, especially the subscription
Tachiyomi with (mostly) Mangadex (well, one of its forks anyway), Manga Plus and CDisplayEx/Kuro Reader for digital stuff I bought on Kobo and removed the DRM from.
I don’t read much on mobile (paperback > e-reader > phone/tablet), but
TachiyomiMihon is great to get notified about new chapters and download them.Also fuck Kakao.
I’m still using tachi because I’m too lazy to make the switch. Maybe when the extensions dont work anymore
Switching to Mihon, Aniyomi, or any other fork is pretty easy. Download, install, and restore from your Tachiyomi backup
