    A Chinese startup has unveiled a new battery that it claims can generate electricity for 50 years with the need for charging or maintenance.

    So…a durable battery?

    sounds like a tiny rtg,
    and according to the article it produces only about 100 microwatts (0.0001W)

    for comparison, those calculators with tiny solar cells produce aparently about 0.02W - 0.35W

    Great idea, they can charge way way more and just push an update to ruin it for us
