Update: Update: we’re live @rimworldporn

Continuing my first question

First of all, this is looking great and I can imagine this platform is under a lot of stress due to the mass migration from Reddit. Keep up the good work!

I am seriously considering moving RimWorldPorn to kbin. It looks good so far, and I like the decentralized nature.

-What happens if this instance falls away somehow? Will the images be preserved due to the decentralized nature?
-Will it be possible to make local backups? (a feature which reddit lacks)
-Will it be possible to set the add type to photo only for /m/RimWorldPorn?
-What is the maximum allowed filesize/resolution? It seems 5.5MB, unknown for X*Y. Can these potentially be increased, for magazines like these?
-I have almost 1000 renders on /r/reddit. Can those all be posted on /m/RimWorldPorn? (I have them stored locally)
-Is it possible for moderators to receive notifications when new images are added?
-Less important: would it be possible to use square thumbnails?

thank you!

Get rid of the porn in the title while you’re at it. Can you imagine linking your boss or grandma something with porn in the link?

You are the first person in over 4 years to make a point of that. It’s based on /r/earthporn & /r/mapporn. I’d reccomend not linking renders to your grandma or boss :)

A lot of Reddit communities end in “porn”. It basically means that whatever you’re about to see on there, is gonna be a feast for your eyes :)

I’m saying that’s a trend whose time has come to end. If we’re setting up new communities, we can embrace the future.
