I think altars are a game element that follows you into new seasons and characters, so your effort should not be wasted?

Yeah, I read that the altars will still be revealed for future characters but unless I see one on the screen I probably won’t go out of my way to collect them again.
Ok so maybe I’m wrong on this, by my impression is that once revealed, the bonuses from the altars will be with you forever through seasons and what not? It should not be necessary to revisit the altars.
I have heard that some other elements like your potion capacity for example are also permanently unlocked. But I guess we’ll find out tomorrow!

Okay, patch notes say account wide.
“Altar of Lilith Unlocks are now account wide. Map discovery is now account wide.”
The bonuses are unlocked for all characters including season characters. It’s a one and done kinda deal
