    I remember reading a while back that white bread loses maybe 30% of it’s carbs when it’s frozen before you eat it; and there’s a different percentage that gets lost if you toast it before using it. (Sorry, diabetics, I’ve no idea if the carb loss is cumulative.)

    But anyway, that’s actually a hand-assembled pan-European specialty sandwich, with decorative condiments lovingly applied.
