Dexedrine was better for my circulation, but turned me into an emotionless dick. With adderall, I have to pace every 45 minutes but get to keep my humanity. (I did trial Ritalin once, but I slept all day then accidentally brandished a knife at my then-husband while cooking dinner, so my psych told me to never take methylphenidate again.)

Any theories on why that is the case? I’m curious to split my script 50/50 (like keep my Dexedrine Spansule script just 1/2) and retry like 20 mg Adderall and see how I do but its gonna be a massive pain in the ass to do it aha
I’m on Vyvanse, a slow-release dexy. It’s better than the three-a-day dexy.
You know you can just dissolve it volumetrically in a choice beverage and get similar benefit with Dexedrine Spansules eh, I like it better cuz I can self-adjust based on how I’m feeling and if I’m overstimulated (happenz) I can modulate that so as to sleep better and have less overreaction
Edit: 3/day, u talking 10mg spansule, thats a lot if its 15mg… could never handle that on the reg
Australia literally ran out of 30mg tablets for a while and I had to get 40mg. It’s a leeeetle too much but I’m not sure I can be bothered trying to bust open the capsules and remeasuring the teensy bits of powder.

No idea, sorry. I know very little about the range of available stuff.
I can’t give a comparison, as I’ve been on generic Adderall for the last 9 years or so.
But! I’ve noticed that even different generics from different manufacturers have different potency & effects. Did realize that XR causes me higher anxiety and sometimes uncontrollable anger, which scared me so bad, as I pretty much never get angry.
What have you found to be so good about the effects of Dexedrine vs. Adderall, OP? Any big differences?
Vyvanse gets metabolized into dexedrine, so when I was on Vyvanse I used dex as my top up for the evening to keep things consistent.
Having tried a bunch of meds, I definitely preferred dexedrine over mixed (aka Adderall). I found there was less irritability.
