        Speaking from the US, where any Florida redneck with a pair of leather gloves can snatch fifteen baby gators from the swamp and be home before dinner. Crocodiles aren’t native to North America and can’t legally be owned or bred by private owners

        It depends on the species, but if the croc came from a reputable breeder and was healthy, it would be worth anywhere from $2-$10k
