We are still on 0.18.3, whereas lemmy.world is 0.18.5 (released at the end of September).

Jonah’s account does not seem to be active either. Is it time to jump to another instance?

There’s also the fact that the pinned post is almost 5 months old at this point and hasn’t been removed.

There were some federation issues in the past

I haven’t seen talk about it recently, so maybe it’s resolved or this instance needs an update

If it’s too much for Jonah, I wish he’d at least say something so we can plan accordingly

I know he’s got a lot of irons in the fire, so I wouldn’t think less of him if lemmy.one had to close

Feels like it sometimes. I mean hell, the last time it broke I had to email Jonah to even get him to come look at it… to think it’s managed to run this entire time with zero interaction or maintenance is scary.

At the moment we’re kind of like sitting ducks until something happens again IMO. I recall reading something on the Techlore forums about someone helping out with the server maintenance for lemmy.one, so maybe that’s been happening in the background?

An update from him would be nice at least though.

If I was to jump to another instance it would probably be dbzer0 or programming.dev

I don’t know about abandoned, but I joined it during the migration and mainly just for a home for my account. I rarely see much content on this instance, but that’s also kind of okay.
