Rad
Beans (as in “That’s the beans!”)
Gnarly
Groovy
Milk drinker (as an insult. It means “You’re a baby that still drinks milk” good for insulting white people)
As an old white milk drinker who still unironically says rad, I can say with some authority that it was always “cool beans” and never just “beans”.
I hear lots of people still saying rad, and I think that’s rad
I only use the most smooth Californian slang, like swood
I use rad, gnarly and groovy daily. I’d like to see some old timey insults come back like Blockhead or Pumpkin Lilly
I say rad, grouse, sick. My dad says groovy. We’re cool.
grouse
It is an invocation of your name, and the coolness it brings forth. Grouse as a mouse in a house
Hell yeah
I use sick very frequently.
Gen Z still uses sick and dope pretty often, not out of use in the same way rad or groovy are
I’ve literally never heard “grouse” before tho lmao
I want the word humbug to come back. I want to call someone a pettifogging humbug like it’s the 1890s.
Far out. It’s so cheesy and charming lol
This and milkdrinker are the only ones I agree with
I always use far out when referring to my tastes in music
It’s still in use in Australia. Generally by adults that were about to say fuck then realised there are toddlers present.

RELEASE THE BOGUS
I still use rad, albeit exclusively to refer to animals irl and monster designs in media.
“That’s a rad little dude.” -me, looking at cool bug.
Twenty two ski doo
I don’t know. Saying “milk drinker” makes you sound like a total Melvin.
I AM NOT A MELVIN
Having to assert you aren’t a Melvin is a prime characteristic of a Melvin
A legend was born.
