minus-squaresilence7@slrpnk.netOPMlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·10 months agoThere are very different emissions standards in different places though - adopting a stricter standard that’s in widespread use elsewhere results in a sharp cut in both local air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
On a positive note, the cars we’re buying are already manufactured to meet everyone else’s emission standards. It’s not cost effective otherwise.
