Thanks to all the help here I picked up the TP Link AX3000 system to use as access points. After setup I’m debating:

TP Link’s Access Point mode disables a lot of features and my EdgeRouter4 doesn’t have a great UI for non-advanced users.

Previous Synology router in AP Mode still allowed for threat prevention security, ad blocking etc at the router level.

Would I be better off using the TP Link as the router to access similar features versus the EdgeRouter?

I’m not advanced enough to mess with firewall rules and such :)
