Named after an Elvis Costello song, this early Flying Nun Records band probably didn’t get as much acclaim or wider exposure as acts like The Chills, Verlaines or The Bats.

Formed in Dunedin, NZ circa. 1980, during their initial run, they released 3 studio albums and a half dozen EPs. They broke up in 1989, briefly reformed in 1992 and then had an extended hiatus until 2017. A new album called The Mercury Moment came out in 2020.
