Avatar: The Last Airbender - Book 1: Water (Music From The Animated Series) released on November 17th digitally and on vinyl. The album features an updated and re-recorded score of 35 tracks from avatar composer Jeremy Zuckerman, now employing a full orchestra.

    Avatar In Concert - live orchestra concerts

    Oh nice! I hope this makes it to Australia. I saw The Two Towers in concert and A New Hope in concert, but sadly my local orchestra never got around to doing Return of the King, and I was busy and unable to attend Empire or Jedi (and they followed that up with episode 8, rather than doing 1, 2, and 3).

    I’m not sure how it would work for a TV series though. The appeal of the films in concert is that it’s just like seeing the film in theatres, except that the music is live. Seems like Avatar in Concert would be more like going to see a traditional orchestral concert, but with some background video?
