You know, I’ve read the HP books within the last 5 years (pls no reeducation camp) and I don’t remember her writing being this awful and stilted. I guess it’s really true that hate and bigotry rots your brain.
The people with the real talent were her editors for HP. The books get worse as they go - the more control (and ego) she has, the worse the final product.
I just remember them being just standard YA.
This might be the most brain-wormed book ever written. Grievances against socialists, plastinians, trans-people and hezbollah(?). When I was a kid Harry Potter was my favorite book-series. What a disaster

I love how the Jeremy Corbyn character is somehow both a Trot and a Maoist, two tendencies that famously get along well.
I mean she called her one token Asian Hogwarts student Cho Chong. She’s got a bit of a habit for doing zero research whatsoever.
It is absolutely amazing how silent Labour is to any bigotry if it spoken from a rich enough mouth.
