Would’ve liked to see Lies of P or Hi-Fi Rush take Mario Wonder’s spot but oh well, they’re both in other categories.

    Your comment simultaneously underplays the popularity of the Spider-Man games and dismisses Remedy’s work on Alan Wake 2, which is just as impressive as BG3 imo.

    I like TotK but that game hasn’t been in the conversation much since July. If you only read gaming headlines it really seems like TotK, BG3 and Starfield are the only games that came out this year.
