    There are plenty of sites out there offering free fonts or lookalike fonts. If you know specifically what you’re looking for, it’s some of the easiest content out there. Often they’re in the public domain anyway. But even if they’re not, plenty of sites offer free downloads for what are supposed to be paid fonts.

    Sometimes the free fonts are listed as trials or not for commercial use. Trials usually mean that some characters like punctuation or numerals are not included. Often, simply putting the name of the font into a search engine will yield a bunch of free results. If you don’t get it the first time, try adding keywords like “free,” “download” or “similar.”

    For this specific font, I just typed “Mason Serif Regular” into the search box and the second result (after the Adobe link) was https://en.maisfontes.com/mason-serif-regular.font where you can find the whole font family for free.
