      They took care not to touch it (except Beau’s ghost punch grab attack?), even when the egg was thrown at him, Caleb dodged it and used telepathy to send it to the demiplane. There is certainly potential for there being a Delilah-esque situation contacting the egg, but it might have just ended up trapping Caleb with Trent if he tried to swallow it. That moment had me sweating for a bit, I’ll admit.
