The latest app version i see on f-droid is 0.0.37. But i see 0.0.38 on github and IzzyOndroid
it depends on when fdroid decides to build that version.
fdroid builds every app on their own, so no one csn control their schedule besides themselves.
i see
its been built and should be in the distribution repo pretty soon.
if you want to track f-droid builds of your fav. libre project on your phone then the F-Droid Build Status app will help you out.
Is there any sort of advantage to getting it from the F-Droid repo as opposed to IzzyOnDroid? I have it from IOD and haven’t encountered any sort of issues.
fdroid pulls the public source code and build it themselves. So if you trust fdroid, it avoids the threat that developer secretly inject code that is not in the public codebase while compiling apps.
However, this does not prevent fdroid person injecting code into the build. So there are a lot of arguments online about which one is more secure.
If you’re looking for faster updates, you might want to give Obtainium a try. I’ve been using it and it works great.
