Might be easier for them to have one PCB with different components and it’s just easier to stick connectors on all of them. Very interested to hear more about it
minus-squareramble81@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up11·1 year agoYeah chances are that’s a lower model that got binned, but rather than have multiple PCBs they just covered up the port. That’s gonna be a quick way to under voltages or a fire if they try to use it.
I’d be worried that would allow you to put more strain on the PSU than it’s internals can carry.
