It’s the Golden Girls theme song, but also in a way accurate. Rif was my first introduction to reddit. And the first app I downloaded on every phone. One I used…probably too often haha. Don’t confront me with that data, I’m not ready yet. But through the past decade it’s led me to some extraordinary discoveries, been a comfort when I was low, helped me organize things I was looking into or just laughing at, and never failed me being there even when I did break away for a bit. Rif was like a friend, an online acquaintance that knew all the things I liked and shared that with me. And I’m going to miss it. A lot. Thank you for the last 10 years of being a friend.
