I’m not sure of the time needed for it to revert. But I haven’t closed the app. Only gone back to my home screen and used other apps. So it’s still open in the background.

The setting will still show that reverse list view is selected. But will show normal list view. You have to select a different view and save it, ten select reverse list view again and save that for it to show the reverse list view.
