From over here it looks like you made a whole post about it. Why do you post about things you don’t care about?

This comment reeks of bad faith.

So you don’t care of what pronouns they choose? You literally don’t know them irl, you would have 0 information of what their gender is to call them anything but “they” if they don’t put their pronouns. Assuming everyone is a man is unhelpful nowadays.

Even if you were a right winger immersed so far in the culture war you are unable to recognize the idea of gender as separate from sex and thus denying people determining their own pronouns, you still wouldn’t know what someone is. But if that is frankly your position it would be better you stay away from that place since you would be exactly the kind of people they have to moderate so heavily against

It doesn’t matter if you care. What matters is that the people being referred to care how they are being referred. It’s literally 0 extra effort for you to use the pronouns they prefer. Just use the pronouns that they want. It doesn’t inconvenience you at all.

You don’t need to care about their pronouns. I don’t care either: in the sense that they can pick attack helicopter as their pronoun, and it is none of my business; and I don’t mind people accidentally refer to me with the wrong pronoun.

However, pronouns are important for some people, as they and their forerunners went through a lot to freely use their pronouns today. And as a member of the society, I am happy that they have the freedom they deserve, and respect their choice of pronouns as it is possibly important to them.

Listing you pronouns (even if you don’t care) can not only help people who cherish their freedom to feel safe and accepted, but also help people on the other side of the internet refer to you without the fear of misgendering.
