I worked with someone who was very no-nonsense. She was sensible, and we got on pretty well. It was an exciting time, as she had bought a new house and was about to move in.

One day, she told me things didn’t seem right in her new house - just a feeling of being watched and things not being where she thought she left them. Turning up in random places.

Soon after, she started looking tired and worried. She told me she thought the house was haunted. Her bed was sometimes shaking at night, she had seen her cupboard doors slam.

She was more and more troubled with the unexplained happenings, and eventually had a breakdown and left work. Never saw her again.

Sadly after keeping an eye out since I was a kid, I have never experienced anything paranormal. We used to even “ghost hunt” in my teen years.

TO ALL THE GHOSTS & GHOULS: I DON’T HAVE THE TIME OR MENTAL CAPACITY SO DON’T START HAUNTING ME NOW
