The long-awaited V4 Tesla Supercharging dispensers are finally arriving in North America, after the initial batch was deployed in several European countries.
Anyone who complains about charging time needs to see a doctor to get their bowels checked. Marathoning a road trip with zero time allowed at all to use the bathroom can’t be healthy.
Hah! The total amount of time saved is rarely factored in.
I maintain that very little extra time is taken when roadtripping since I’m not some maniac who’s trying to shave 3 mins off of my arrival time on a 12hr drive.
I leave at 4am, stop around 5-6am for a coffee and snack, again at 8-9am for breakfast, 11a-1pm for a lunch, 3-4pm for a “oh god, my legs needs a fucking break” walk, and 5-7pm for dinner.
4 of 5 times the car is ready to go well before my food comes out or by time everyone is back in the car ready to go.
Another ev advancement that diminishes the “but long charge times argument”

So what if I never have to stop for gas on my daily commute. The one time a year I need to drive 500 miles will take 45 minutes longer.
But I like having to go to price buddy to find gas that’s 10 cents a gallon cheaper and drive 15 miles out of my way to save $3
