@thatdosbox @arsenalwfc the “shade” you highlighted is something I’m surprised hasn’t been getting A LOT more coverage. #Arsenal offered BIG money to Man U and they said “sod off” only to lose her for NOTHING? As a transfer win, that’s up there with anything the men’s team has pulled off, imo
Ambitious clubs attract ambitious players and in Russo Arsenal have someone who, like them, is pushing to reach the next level. She is an investment as much for now as for the future as they look to challenge for silverware consistently.
@Aesecakes yeah, the other line about Utd wanting a salary cap, and thus being reluctant to invest in the women’s game, was also telling.
