We used ChatGPT, Text-To-Speech Synthesis, and a Raspberry Pi to create a digital assistant that can reply as almost anyone you can think of - like Joe Rogan, David Attenborough, or NDT.

We also talk at the end about the future of this technology, and AI as a whole - there’s a large potential for something like this to impact almost every aspect of our daily lives, and it increasingly feels like we’re on the precipice of a paradigm shift. Which is super exciting and also terrifying lol

    Personally i would avoid “anyone” in favor of sm more specific “known people, celebs, or influencers. Because it feels more correct. You cant yet simulate me, coworker or my grandma.

    Being general and broad is common in click bait so the more specific the title the more i feel its something of substance.

    It is a bit of a nitpick though. You can technically simulate “a grandma” or “a reddit user” (sorry fellow lemmings but i dont think chatgpt has all that much data on us yet)
