I just want to give a shout out to Subnautica. I’ve been having a blast playing it for the last two weeks. In my opinion, it’s actually the best game I have played in terms of the open world design. At the start of the game, there are just two map-related things on your hud, the location of the life pod where you start and a depth indicator. There is no mini map or a million question marks on a map and you don’t even start with a compass. I honestly had a lot of fun driving around in a submarine and placing beacons in each biome to sort of make my own map. Exploration is a lot of fun in this game.

Can never go wrong with Slay the Spire. I’ve bought that on my switch, PS4, Android phone and now Steam. Just endless awesome fun.

I am currently playing Half Life Alyx with a Quest 2 and a cable to my PC. Incredible game, totally recommended. If you want to feel what Virtual Reality (VR) is about, please play that game.

Check out the SP campaign mods that people made for it!

Not that many, but even right now the ‘best’ one adds a few hours of gameplay. I can’t remember the name of it though, sorry

Thanks! I can’t wait to finish the campaign to play the community made content! I took a quick look and saw a lot, LOT of content! Makes me feel nostalgic for HL2!

Did you do much to optimize the play experience? Last time I was trying to get things running smoothly, I kept running into stutters and whatnot, being such a headache to find solutions online to no avail.

    Was gifted Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.

That game is wild, super eerie but fun! Not usually a SP gamer but I’m trying to expand into it more and I think it’s a good start.

I have a gf, but she was unrelated to my enjoyment of Stray. It’s one of those games you can play without being in relationship just like pretty much every other video game.

My kitten kept meowing and chittering at the tv and jumping up and down. So I’d say it gets his cat seal of approval.

It’s very quiet and a little peaceful in a dystopian sort of way.

I picked up Dredge: Been hearing it’s great so I’m excited to try it out when I get some time. Don’t see it on the list either, but I believe it’s on sale for maybe $5-10 off.

Picked up sea of thieves. Has been ok. Wish you could do 6 player crews though. I enjoy just sailing about in it. But wish it wasnt quite so toxic pvp oriented.

You should really consider Sailwind then. No combat, just sailing. And the sailing is very realistic. It’s a single dev game, but an absolute gem. He recently added modification options for all of the available boats, so you can play around with different sail plans and rigs!

I started playing Rainworld, and I really like its survival and mystery elements. The sounds and art is also top notch. I’m also considering picking up the recently released Downpour DLC.

If you are a Humble Bundle subscriber and you haven’t played it for 2hrs yet, it’s included in the new Humble Monthly.

Edit: I mixed up the two games for the umpteenth time.
