The Conservative leader has called on Trudeau to “come clean” about the evidence behind the allegation against India, saying Canadians deserve more facts.

Poilievre has so far rejected getting the clearance needed

Of course he’s gonna complain about it instead of getting his clearance to review the material and make a well-informed complaint about it.

Poilievre needs to grow up put on pants and be a man. How the F are you expected to exercise judgement as a leader without getting proper security clearance? Are you hiding something?

Really. He’s supposed to be the leader of the Loyal Opposition. If he’s not privy to intelligence he can’t really understand what’s in the national interest. So he doesn’t know when it’s time to be loyal and when it’s time to be in opposition.

With the China thing he showed incompetence even at Trudeau hating. Had this big scandal dropped in his lap, then got distracted by some changes to passport pages. Who even noticed there were watermarked images in our passports, much less cared that they were being changed?

The guy is just an idiot all around.

No no! See it’s all Justin! Just-insecurity!

Also, no comment on abortion, LGBT+ rights, indigenous affairs…

Did I wink? No I don’t recall that. I just need to go hang out with these very fine people over here protesting at hospitals and schools.

But seriously, PP isn’t really selling policy per se. He mostly just seems to be jumping on the F∆ck Trudeau bandwagon.

I’m sure he’s got some policy platforms, but it’s certainly not his main talking points.

Last I checked, his main platform points are the same old rich-get-richer conservative talking points sold as “more money in your pockets dear cocitizens” with a new layer of MAGA-lite coat of paint.

            That’s my impression as well.

Housing? Give tax breaks to real estate developers so we can have more landlords! Not that I’m adverse to supply side solutions, any port in a storm and all that, but how’s that greenbelt deal going for Ford? Likewise, it seems to be classic neo-con, with lots of inaction on climate.

The biggest thing seems to be trying to avoid ending up like O’Toole, and just not make any solid statements towards any issue and instead just point at Trudeau and whine.

He’s certainly leaving into the whole “vibes” thing. I guess it’s kind of working.

He was an MP for many years, with Rick Mercer mocking him for getting a MP pension at age 31. How can he not get security clearance by now? Something doesn’t pass the smell test.

Yes. He’s hiding that he’s part of the same organization as Modi, and that organization is led by Stephen Harper.

It has a goal of infecting global politics with far right rhetoric.
