Don’t worry. I looked it up and this new term has been used for 8 years already. Perhaps they are going to be moving away from “jizz” (cringe to do so) but I don’t think they are retconning it.
Disney purchased the Star Wars brand in 2012, so if it’s been retconned for 8 years then Disney were the ones to retcon it.
Okay so I made a mistake - jatz is actually 29 years old. Wookieepedia has canon and legends sections for both jizz and jatz. Maybe jizz being a nickname for jatz is a retcon, but both are still canon terms.
This doesn’t seem like a retcon, if anything that’s a pretty natural worldbuilding development, have something in-universe receive a name change because humans (or whatever they are) keep snickering whenever Joe Alien called it ‘Jizz’
But that being said, you do not, under any circumstances, ‘gotta hand it to’ the committees that write Star Wars extruded product
