The only reason why we all used third party apps for Reddit, is because their app and website is abhorrent trash. It’s great to have a choice, but Lemmy’s website is smooth to use. I know it’s mind blowing not to use a app for everything in 2023 but Lemmy just works.

    Lemmy WebUI is very slow and ugly for me. It puts more strain on the instance maintainers to load the UI for you, instead of having all the UI elements preloaded on a app in your phone.

    Also not a fan of compact views in general. If a post has an image, I want to see all of it without having to click on a post.

    Also the defaults that the WebUI uses are kind of annoying and unintuitive imo. Lemmy WebUI is better than the Reddit website tho.
