I stopped my recurring buys because of it and don’t know what to believe. Still buy and terminate plan in CS occasionally since DRS via broker->IBKR->CS is expensive and a hassle.
At least I buy into my CS account with fewest shares, the bulk of my shares are safely DRS booked with no plan, and will stay that way until MOASS or I die.

How expensive is IBKR->CS for you? DRS from IBKR (Canada) for me is only $5.
Yeah, that’s not the issue, Norwegian Broker -> IBKR is like 50$
